theFARM is Taiwan’s most exciting music content accelerator. We have invested in and incubated some of Mandopop’s leading music labels and brands. Our collective creative ecosystem is home to emerging music entrepreneurs like EggPlantEgg, Julia Wu, Kimberley Chen and OSN. We also operate Taiwan’s leading digital music aggregator Soundscape, which gives independent musicians instant access to global distribution and a wide array of label services. Since 2016, we have been working hard to lift Made in Taiwan pop culture beyond our borders.


The Global Business Development Manager is a senior role that is expected to champion the mission of taking our unique portfolio of businesses and intellectual properties worldwide. This will require interfacing regularly with senior management to explore and build upon strategic partnerships and collaborations that have a major impact. On day one, you should be able to articulate key digital music deal structures and strategies, evaluate deal performance and options, and start leading, supervising, and influencing negotiations with new and existing commercial partners. This will also include spearheading the exploration of new B2B music technology products. KKFARM’s Business Development team builds strategic relationships with partners to develop new business lines. You’ll help shape and launch these partnerships, by working with both external and internal stakeholders, including the rest of the business development team, operations, marketing, product, finance, and legal, focusing primarily on structuring and negotiating global and multi-territory partnerships with the US and the Asia Pacific partners. You will report directly to the President of theFARM.

  • Qualifications

  • Spoken and written native English fluency
  • Undergraduate degree
  • MBA and/or experience in a top consulting firm or investment bank a plus, but not required
  • A minimum of 5 years experience with a digital music/media organization in a business development role (If not, demonstrate you have a vision and the ability to execute)
  • Experience in business and relationship development with multinational brands and partners
